Rick Allen

Rick Allen serves as one of the national facilitators for the Church Transformation Initiative for the Acts 2 process. From 2001 to 2005, Allen served as the director of Church Enrichment of the Arkansas District Council. During these four years, he assisted district superintendent Alton Garrison with the mentoring ministry for pastors through the District Coaching Group and oversaw the local church leadership development ministry through the Arkansas Cohort Group.

Dr. Mike Clarensau serves as Research Coordinator for the Church Transformation Initiative. Mike also serves as Dean of the College of Bible and Church Ministries for Southwestern Assemblies of God University. He has ministered in camps, conferences, and churches across the nation.

Mike and his wife Kerry (National Women’s Ministries Director for the Assemblies of God) previously spent a decade serving as lead pastors of Maranatha Worship Center in Wichita, Kansas. Here, they helped guide the revitalization of the church from an aging congregation of around 180 to a vibrant worship community of 750, filled with young adults and more than 55 different nations of birth.

Mike has also served as Senior Director of the Healthy Church Network (now Church Transformation Initiative), Editor in Chief and head of the National Sunday School Department for the Assemblies of God and as District Youth & CE Director for the Kansas District.

Alton Garrison

Director

Alton Garrison serves as the assistant general superintendent
of the Assemblies of God as well as the director of the Church
Transformation Initiative which is designed to help churches renew
their spiritual vitality and reach their full kingdom potential.

Garrison has also served as an evangelist; pastor of First Assembly
of God, North Little Rock, Arkansas; superintendent of the Arkansas
District Council; and executive director of AGUSM. During his tenure
as district superintendent, he began a mentoring ministry to pastors
called the District Coaching Group and a local leadership development ministry called the Arkansas Cohort Group.

Garrison and his wife, Johanna, have one daughter, Lizette, and one grandson. He has authored several books including Hope in America’s Crisis; The Acts 2 Church; The 360° Disciple; and his newest book, A Spirit-Empowered Church: An Acts 2 Ministry Model.

Ron McManus

Ron McManus

Ron McManus led First Assembly of God, Winston-Salem, North Carolina as senior pastor for 16 years, from a congregation of 350 to over 3,000
attendees. Ron has served as the former president of the Center for Church Leadership, a district denominational executive, and a member of several college and seminary boards.

He is a consultant who has worked with churches of all sizes across the country to help them move to the next level. He has also served as a transitional pastor for many larger churches over the past several years.
